MUTHURAJAWELA BIRD SANCTUARY DAY TRIP
The Muthurajawela Bird Sanctuary is one of Sri Lanka’s many popular ornithology hotspots. Situated at the southern end of the Negombo Lagoon, we will take you on a 4 hour boat ride along the narrow channels and waterways to show you a stunning assortment of avian life in all their natural glory. You will see Cormorants, Ducks, Egrets, Herons, Storks, Eagles, Terns, Swallows, Swifts, Kingfishers and other resident birds, as well as many rarer species as well if you’re lucky enough. Options for refreshment stops are also available along the way.
Day’s Highlights
- Pick up from Colombo at 6:30 AM
- Transfer to Negombo – 1 hour drive approximately
- Commence the boat trip by 7 AM from Negombo pier
- Coffee at a lagoon-front restaurant (Optional)
- Return to Negombo boat pier by 10 or 11 AM
- Return to Colombo by 12 or 1 PM

Payment Policy
Please note we require 30% of the payment on confirmation with the balance settled 15 days prior to arrival, or full payment can be settled on confirmation.

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation should be notified in writing, 10 days prior to the arrival date, 40% would be charged , for cancellations made within 7 days , and for ‘No Shows 100 % would be charge.
